This post is all over the place with a round up of top options for one piece swimsuits (under $100), our bathroom vanity plans update (eek-it’s happening!), and two kids games we’ve been loving lately (that the kids can either play alone or together- everyone literally wins!). **This post contains affiliate links, meaning that if you click and purchase, I may receive some compensation. Thank you! Swimsuits Under $100 Let’s start with the swimsuit round up. I’ve rounded up several options for one-piece swimsuits this season. They are all under $100. The majority of them are from the same store for ease of shipping and…

Spring Outfits for Elementary Age Kids
With spring just around the corner (pretty please!), I have big plans to clean out our closets this weekend. Exciting plans, I know. As we are starting to come out of this crazy year, spring outfits for the family seem to be in order. R and my clothes should be fine so one or two items is likely all we need. The kids, however, have shot up over the past year and I’m not sure anything is going to still fit them. Not to mention, they are incredible hard on their clothing. So there’s that.

Early Spring Decor: Living Room Mantel
It feels like a regular heat wave this week! It has me in the mood for some lighter spring (ish) decor. The cozy pillows and blankets can stay a bit longer since we usually get at least a few good snowfalls yet, but the mantel is getting an early spring decor refresh.

Living Room Mirror Options
Well, it’s been snowing non-stop here in Michigan, which makes it feel like it is the perfect time to change up our mantel decor and decide on a living room mirror. Keep reading for the two Apps that helped with the decision making process and the four mirrors we considered.

Argyle Sweaters, Family Winter Activities, and More
Hi there and Happy Thursday! Get ready for some randomness, including some family winter activities we have been (mostly) enjoying, a round up of argyle sweaters (just in time for the incoming polar vortex), a favorite winter recipe (and some meal planning), and wall frames (with the perfect oversized mat). Family Winter Activities It has been sooo wintery here in Michigan lately, but we’ve really been trying to get outside as much as possible. We went cross country skiing this past weekend, and it was so pretty and a great way to get outside as a family. (We did have a few “take aways” for next time. Naturally.) Our daughter…

Bubble Lights for the Bedroom
Hi! We are getting so close to sharing the winter living room. I am also working on a post about all of the green paint color samples that graced our kitchen on the quest to find the perfect green color for the space. Annnnd… we are playing musical beds! This somehow led to a rabbit hole of an internet search to find the perfect bubble light for our daughter’s room. Read on for our round up of the bubble lights.

Floor Lamp Round Up and Winter Decorating
Continuing with the theme of round ups (you can check out the Table Lamp Round Up here), this week I’m sharing a floor lamp round up. I ordered another plant on a whim (oops!) and also because it is so gray in January in Michigan. Stems and Monday mornings at Trader Joe’s are small pick-me-ups for winter weather. And, while I’m not ready to share the entire living room just yet, I thought I’d share a cute corner complete with old, really old, new, traditional, and modern.

Projects Past and Projects Present
Hi all! I’m back… I’ve put together a list of past projects from 2020. I’ve also created a “wish list” of sorts for this coming year. Budget and time will be factors so we will see what we actually get to. As always, I reserve to right to completely veer from the plan- haha!
