Holiday Toddler Gift Guide

Hi there! I feel like I keep hearing how important it is to buy early this year. So, I thought it would be fun to get started with some gift guides. Christmas decorations are still in the bins until after Thanksgiving. Probably. Let’s start with the Holiday Toddler Gift Guide.

DISCLOSURE: This post contains affiliate links, meaning that if you click and purchase, I may receive some compensation. Thank you!

I actually have a few different compilations of gift guides for toddlers. They are one of my favorite groups to shop for because their interests are so expansive and play is so important to their development. We brought some gifts over earlier this fall for my niece and nephew’s birthday and, upon seeing the gift bags, E gasped and said, “Yay, toys!!!” They’re excited about everything at 2 years old, which makes gift giving sort of the best.

Here are the three boards and clickable pictures and links. I’ll include a link to last year’s post too. Because toddler/preschooler development is incredibly varied, be sure to read the descriptions to ensure the toys are appropriate for the recipient. When it doubt, ask their parents.

Toddler Gift Guide: Newest

Let’s start with the newest guide.

Toddler Gift Guide

Hoppers My kids adored these toys when they were younger. Friends had a few and they were super fun to bounce around on.

Teeter Popper This is a great gift for active kids that also keeps them a bit more contained.

Play dough Handmade in New York City and in fun colors, this looks like a great activity for kids on cold winter days.

Mix and Match Animal Tiles- Mix and Match creativity is always an amusing idea. It’s even cuter with woodland animals.

Activity Table- More adorable woodland animal fun can be found on this activity table. I love this particular table because it has a train incorporated. For some reason, trains just make everything more fun in the toddler world.

Grocery Basket (Fruit)- Our kids really enjoyed the grocery section at the children’s museum when they were younger. They also loved playing in their toy kitchen and playing pretend restaurant with their toy food.

Pajamas I love this twist on traditional Christmas pajamas.

My Very Merry Christmas- Our kids have received a couple I See Me! personalized books throughout the years and it was incredibly fun to see their very own names in a book. This one is perfect for the holiday season.

Toniebox- This is a newer toy that my kids would have adored. This audio system lets you put a tonie on top and then listen to the story. The Toniebox also allows for 90 minutes of custom content where you can even tell your own stories for the kids to listen to.

Toddler Gift Guide : Prettiest

I love this guide not only for the actual suggestions but because all of the items are just so pretty.

Toddler Gift Ideas

Balance Bike- Oh how my son loved his balance bike. By the end of his time with it, the tire treads were completely worn.

Scooter- (not picture above) We’ve had a few different brands of scooters over the years, and I can honestly say this is my favorite brand. For some reason, it was just easier for my kids to ride (and for me to carry if they ditched them to go play with friends).

Art Easel- This is such a beautiful easel. It feels like it could definitely be one of those items you keep for generations to come.

Xylophone- Another gorgeous take on a classic.

Campfire Set- Such a fun toy! When our daughter was in 3s preschool, their last day of school party was a camp theme. It was adorable. This would be a fun toy to have for a camp birthday party too. Who doesn’t love s’mores?

Gourmet Grill- While we’re talking about outdoor activities and food, this grill would be perfect for little ones who like to mimic their parents’ outdoor activities.

Toy Work Bench- And this bench is perfect for “helping” to get those weekend projects done.

Babycinno Maker- Speaking of wanting to do everything their parents do, this toy fits into our family very well. Might as well train them early to make the morning coffee.

Alphabet Puzzle- My parents kept our wooden alphabet puzzle (which is very similar to the one linked) and pulled it out when our kids were little. It was a popular activity to get the puzzle from under the couch and get to work on it.

Blocks- Stacking blocks are another classic toddler activity and a great way to become familiar with the alphabet. Animals are another favorite topic of toddlers so these blocks have the perfect combo.

Last Year’s Gift Guide

Gift Guide for Toddlers

Since I’m nearing 1000 words in this post and you’ve stuck with me thus far (thank you!), I’ll just link what I can through the photos below. The photos below are clickable. You can read about the items in this post. (The Strolley and Maileg mouse are linked in the post.)

And Don’t Forget This

The Counting House the most adorable mini section. Last Christmas, I purchased some Maileg Christmas mice for E&C. Every year, I plan to continue the tradition and grow their Maileg collection. These are gifts that can double as keepsakes for sure. You can check out all of the mini collection by stopping in the store or clicking here.

Happy Shopping!
