Porch Furniture Options: ORC Week 2

Porch Plans

Hi there! The plan for this week was to prep the porch for some new paint but I didn’t make it out to the Beach Cabin when the weather was nice earlier this week and now we are expected to get an ice storm tonight. So those plans will have to wait. In the meantime, I thought I’d give you a quick round up of our porch furniture options.

You can also check out our fairly inexpensive backyard furniture refresh from last summer here

Reminder

As a reminder, here is the before photo of the corner the sectional will hopefully fit into… (I will have to go out the the Beach Cabin soon to measure before making a final decision!)

Porch Furniture Options

And finally…. Here are my Top 9 sectional choices. Look over the boards and then keep reading for why they made the list. Or, click on the number to get more info directly from the source.

1- This sectional was on the design board last week. I love that it comes in different pieces. It is especially helpful in situations like mine where the space is fairly unique in size and shape. I can just get the options that best fit my space.

2- While I was trying to find the first sectional in the store, I sat on this one. It was one of the more comfortable pieces I sat on that day, so it made the list. It is a bit more modern, but I think it could still work.

3- Versatile, durable, and (at the time of this writing) on sale, this sectional definitely makes the cut.

4- Another great 3-piece sectional with a fabulous price tag. I love the charm of the metal framing and the elegance of the white cushions.

5- Yet another option… The woven side and back give visual interest to this outdoor set. The gray cushions also seem very kid, dog, and pizza friendly.

6- There are two main reasons this sectional is on the list. One, I like the singular long cushions. They usually seem to be more comfortable (and there is also less of a chance of tiny Lego Ninjago guys getting lost in them ;-)). Two, the cushions that come with them can easily be upgraded to Sunbrella covers. (You can check out all of the beautiful colors here.)

 Patio Sectionals

7- I love this sectional because the ottomans can be pulled away for additional seating. They can also be pushed against the sofa to create two longer spaces for our two kids to do their reading, separated by that middle space. (A little distance is always a good thing in circumstances such as those- haha!)

8- While more costly, the multipurpose uses of this set may make up for the price tag. The gray cushions, benches and table would also be helpful with the aforementioned kids’ pizza nights.

9- This set seems perfect for all occasions! Pushed together to relax and browse a magazine or taken apart to seat 5 with a small table for beverages and charcuterie boards, I think it would get a lot of use!

And those are all of the choices for now. However, I do reserve the right to come out of left field with a final decision, as I usually do! In the meantime, don’t forget to check out all of the wonderful design and progress updates from the other guest participants in the One Room Challenge here.
