2025 Gifts for Him

(Side note: I really dragged my feet on the Gifts for Him list this year, but as I am typing this post, I really think it may be the best one yet!)

Clothing
We were recently walking through the mall and this quarter zip caught his eye; the color combinations are classic. Speaking of classic, the patches on this half zip, 100% wool jumper make for such a polished look. For a put together but more casual vibe, this sweater tee is a wonderful option. J.Crew recently came out with campus gear (they have a lot of options, including two Michigan universities). The sweaters are expensive but are made of brushed wool with chain stitched lettering and are surely meant to last a lifetime. The English wool caps with leather backstraps are a great choice too! This barn jacket with a plaid liner can probably be described as iconic at this point, at the very least for those of us around in the 80’s. A nice set of tartan pajamas, name-brand socks, and stylish slippers round out the Clothing section of this Gift Guide.
Wellness
I am so intrigued by this wellness ring– it tracks everything from sleep to activity to heart health to stress and more; it would be perfect for someone who is interested in their health stats but wants to remain disconnected from texts, etc. while tracking. I believe that this was on last year’s list as well; this year may be the year for purchase as we continue to confuse whose earbuds are whose. Our family is pretty active and we have definitely gotten our money’s worth from this purchase. While on the topic of activity recovery, this splurge-y gift has so many health benefits; if you don’t have room or the funds for a full-fledged sauna, this may be your answer!
Travel
If your guy likes to travel, this list contains some essentials and non-essentials for travel poise and ease. Always a classic, this pebbled leather passport holder doesn’t just hold his passport; it is designed to also hold paper currency and has a zippered pocket for coins too. Oh, and it can be personalized! We wouldn’t expect anything less for our guys. We are always scrambling to fill out the paper luggage tags that R is very committed to putting on putting on our luggage, these canvas tags that patina with time may just be the answer to all of our last-minute problems. When “heirloom quality” is used in the description, you just know that the product is going to be top-notch; this Italian Leather Weekender is no exception. (And it can also be monogrammed. Of course.) We are still deciding on our winter ski plans (last year was a bit of an adventure that you can read about in this post); this unique, hand-stitched gift might be a nudge in the right/wrong direction, depending on who you ask. As I mentioned in this post, a portable charger literally saved us on our Italy trip, so now they are on allllll gift lists.
And There’s More
The following gifts didn’t fit neatly into the other categories, but here they are nonetheless… For your tennis fans, this book on the history of tennis is both handsome and informative. If baseball is more your guy’s thing, this leather coffee table book is gorgeous. Annnd… if golf is more his interest, this personalized leather golf tee keychain would be such a great gift. And to round out the sports gifts, who wouldn’t smile receiving these Boss Biscuits (IYKYK).
We don’t need any more record players in our house, but it your guy is still looking for one, this would be a nice, classic looking option! R was so excited when he noticed someone wearing this (what can only be described as …) retro watch; it was an immediate purchase for his birthday. (It does have bluetooth, though, so I guess it’s not that retro.) Finally, this nostalgic waxed canvas cooler is perfect for bringing beverages to a friend’s house for happy hour or for a day at the beach.
