Happy New Year! I’m so thankful for this past year and grateful to all of you who have followed along on this travel blogging journey! Here are the TOP 5 posts from 2017. When I look at all of the statistics, it looks like Michigan and some home decor are the more popular posts (the recipe posts- not so much- ha!). Is this true for you? #5 Where to Eat in Traverse City. Traverse City is an ever popular city and the bays remain its most beautiful draw. However, we always look forward to frequenting our favorite restaurants when there as well as trying a few new ones. 

#4 What to Do in Leland, Michigan. Check out this delightful Northern town. I hadn’t been in years and it exceeded my expectations (which were already quite high considering it’s location in Northern Michigan). 

#3 What to Do in Charlevoix, Michigan. Always a favorite, this charming town in Northern Michigan never disappoints. From water sports on the smaller lakes to sunset cruising on the big lake (and shopping the darling storefronts in between), this is a town not to be missed.

#2 Inexpensive Flooring: How to Stencil Concrete Floors. A 6-week project that ended up taking 6 months (with plenty of travel breaks in between), this project was well-worth the time and the perfect solution for uneven floors and a small renovation budget.
